In the beginning...

Hendane! was founded in the spring of 2003 during Sakura-con at an after-hours party at one of the con hotels. While partaking in an alcoholic beverage that strangely resembled radioactive goo, it was decided that the future company founders would strike forth and descend upon the anime convention scene with awesome products and stuff. 4 years on, Hendane! has made a name for itself as the premier purveyor of doujinshi and related doujin products. Amazing what alcohol can do for you.

Hendane.com is the next progression in Hendane!'s vision as the premier site for doujinshi on the web. We realize it's far more entertaining talking to us in person at conventions, but perhaps anonymity makes it easier to purchase certain things easier. Don't worry, we understand.
